Von Begegnungen, Berührungen, Vertrauen, Bewegung und dem Gefühl, verbunden zu sein. Manchmal zeigen sie mehrere Menschen, manchmal nur eine einzelne Figur. Auch allein treten wir in Beziehung: zur Natur, zu einem Ort, zu einem Moment oder zu uns selbst.
Beziehung verstehe ich nicht als feste Rolle, sondern als etwas Lebendiges, das sich immer wieder neu bildet.
These paintings speak of what emerges between us and the world.
They are about encounters, touch, trust, movement and the feeling of connection. Sometimes they depict several people, sometimes a single figure. Even when alone, we are always in relationship: with nature, with a place, with a moment or with ourselves.
I do not see relationship as a fixed role, but as something living that is constantly forming and transforming.
