Meine Malerei erzählt von Momenten, in denen Menschen bei sich selbst sind. Ich male sie in Augenblicken von Ruhe, Nähe, Freiheit oder Verbundenheit. Mich interessiert wie Präsenz entsteht, Verletzlichkeit, Mut oder Vertrauen sich zeigen und das Gefühl, für einen Moment ganz da zu sein.
Meine Bilder entstehen aus dem Wunsch heraus, einen Gegenraum zu schaffen. Einen Ort, an dem nicht Optimierung, Inszenierung oder Anpassung im Mittelpunkt stehen, sondern die Freiheit Mensch zu sein.
My paintings tell of moments when people are fully present with themselves. I paint people in moments of calm, closeness, freedom and connection. I am not interested in the perfect role, but in what lies beneath it: presence, vulnerability, courage, trust and the feeling of being completely here, if only for a moment. My paintings emerge from the desire to create a counter-space. A place where optimisation, self-staging and adaptation are not at the centre, but rather the freedom to simply be human.
